We are looking for an independent, dynamic
Accounting Manager
to maintain fixed asset controls, manage capital lease assets, support worldwide month-end close, maintain general ledger and track capital expenditure projects for a $1BB financial services provider based in Austin, TX. This role will be perfect for someone who is professional, exhibits exceptional leadership, is able to develop and nurture a team and who is driven to implement change in their role, within their team and their company. This role is located in Austin, TX.
Our candidate will draw on accounting acumen (
CPA required
) a persuasive written and verbal communication style and a collaborative approach to leadership in order to execute corporate financial goals.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly financial reporting; review of monthly team activity and review of consolidation, intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
Preparation of segment level income statements
Assist with M&A
Coordinate, direct, plan and execute financial reporting component of external audit
Maintain organizations accounting principles, practices, procedures and internal controls for financial reporting, external reporting, external audit and SOX compliance
Prepare monthly statements of Cash Flows
Requirements and Skills:
5-7 years of accounting experience (preferably audit experience (Big 4 preferred)) with progressively increasing responsibility
2
years of management experience
Experience in a multi-entity international environment
PeopleSoft GL experience a plus
CPA required
Advanced technical accounting skills(ability to research accounting issues with appropriate guidance, recommend and support conclusions in accordance with US GAAP
